Obituary of Frank Spiker

Frank L. Spiker passed away December 18, 2010. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Rev. Frank L. and Edna M. Spiker; one sister, Wilma Jean Heller; and two daughters, Susan Kay Sesco and infant Linda Joyce Spiker. Frank was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marion. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Opal Ellen Spiker of Marion, VA; daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Johnny Daniels of Beckley, WV, Merrianne and Charlie Cox of Marion, VA, Jane and Lou Goodbrod of Chilhowie, VA, and Lisa and Jerome Davis of Fanning Springs, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Tina Spiker of Radford, VA; sisters, Lina Lee Felty, Jo Ann Price, and Phyllis Marie Hudson; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Jonas officiating. Private burial in Wassum Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Special thanks to Smyth County Community Hospital and staff for their loving care.
