Obituary of Leroy Bowman

MARION, VIRGINIA: LEROY THOMAS BOWMAN, age 57, passed away at his home on December 16, 2010, in Marion. He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Bowman and one special friend, Theresa Bowman Foley. Survivors include, one son, Justin Bowman of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Tamye Jo Bowman of Lake Jackson, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Larry Boothe; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Janice Bowman; special aunt, Lois Russell; special nephews, Michael Boothe and Larry Bowman, Jr.; special nieces, Punky Harris and Tonya Boothe; special great nieces, Madyson Arnold and Mackenzie Arnold; special great nephew, Thomas Harris; special friends, Ray Russell, Chad Teaster, and Dave Umbarger, all of Marion; Steve Keller, Butch Keller, Jim Emaheiser and Kay "Mac" McShan, all of Texas. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Lowman Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Paul Hopkins and Pastor Steve Hutton officiating and Military Rites conducted by Marion VFW Post #4667.
