I hated to hear the news that Mrs. Stephens passed away. I had her in high school for English and she was a great teacher and person. Know that she will be more than a memory to her students, she really was awesome!

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs. Stephens. She was my high school english teacher and she will be dearly missed. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I have a heavy heart in hearing of Mrs. Stephens passing. She was one of the most influencial teachers I was fortunate to have encountered during my education at Surgar Grove High School. She was a true professional, and christian lady that positively influenced the lives of countless students. I and my families prayers are with the family.

We were so very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I have know her all my life,first as a cousin living across the road from my Grandmother and later when she married Ancil whose family was very close to us. Dear Ancil and family, I am very sad to learn of Pat's death. I have many good memories of her that go back to our days at Marion High and continued through our careers in education and our recent work with the committee that organized our fiftieth class reunion. Pat was a true Christian lady, an outstanding high school English teacher, a true leader and organizer, and a very tireless, diligent worker at home, at school, at church, and in her community. She was also a wonderful wife, sister, family member, and friend. I know that she will be greatly missed, but I pray that the many beautiful memories that you have of her will sustain you in this time of grief. Harry and I are deeply saddened by the loss of a great friend and a wonderful person. Having taught with Pat for many years was a blessing to me and all who knew her.
