Obituary of Paul Russell

ATKINS, VIRGINIA: PAUL EUGENE "FUZZ" RUSSELL, age 68, died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at his home. Born February 17, 1936 he was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Edith Russell and a brother, Bill Russell. He is survived by his wife, Jean Armstrong Russell of Atkins, Virginia. One son, Ken "Robert" Armstrong of Atkins, Virginia. Five daughters, Cindy Armstrong of Rutledge, Tennessee; Julia Shortt and husband, Lewis of Chilhowie, Virginia; Carolyn A. Smith of Coral Springs, Florida; Rita A. Smith of Marion, Virginia; and Wanda Ellis and husband, Graham of Marion, Virginia. A special grandson and great-grandson, Kenny "Buck" Waddell and Ryan Waddell both of Marion, Virginia. Thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. One niece, Kathy Russell of Salem, Virginia. One sister-in-law, Frances Russell of Salem, Virginia. Special friends and neighbors, Sharon and George Thomas, Jack Bridgeman, and Jackie Fisher. Several cousins and great-nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. William T. Wing, III officiating. Burial will follow in Nicks Creek Community Cemetery, Atkins, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
