Obituary of Helen Corvin

MARION, VIRGINIA: HELEN LYONS CORVIN, age 73, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Smyth County Community Hospital. Mrs. Corvin was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Lyons; second husband, James Martin Corvin; and son, Dewey Leon Lyons. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Lyons Hawthorne of Rural Retreat, Virginia, and Ella Lyons Wingate and husband, Chris of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond S. Lyons, Jr. and Vanessa of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one step-daughter, Sheri Morin of Ogden, Utah; one step-son, Jimmy Corvin of Ogden, Utah; one brother-in-law, Homer Corvin of California; one sister-in-law, Reba Kirby of Speedwell, Virginia; five grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Hall, Sheri Ann Heldreth, Crystal Ann Lyons, Tifani Doane, and Dustin Stamper; ten great-grandchildren, Nova Leigh-Ann Heldreth, Kylie Paige Romans, Bly Stillwell, Silas Lyons, Ivy-Lee Heldreth, Andrew Silas Hall, Gage Stamper, Liam Stamper, Serenity Murphy and Eli Taylor; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Roger Crigger officiating. Private burial will be held Friday, in Wassum Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
