Obituary of Linda Long

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: LINDA PARKS LONG, age 62 of Sugar Grove, Virginia, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, Virginia. She was born July 21, 1948 at Sugar Grove to Jesse Leon and Madeline Fay Cornett Parks. Survivng, mother, Fay Parks Pafford; two daughters, Beverly Fay Burkett and Beth Long; two brothers, Jesse Parks, Jr. and Leslie Parks; special uncle, Ralph Parks; special aunt, Edna Stevens; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 in Bald Rock Cemetery, Flatridge, Virginia. Reverend Shannon Parks will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bald Rock Cemetery, 420 Green Gable Road, Troutdale, Virginia 24378.
