The impact of this remarkable child's life on our community cannot be overstated. He drew us together and reminded us how deeply we cared for each other. He reminded us of the importance of prayer, and the need to each other some support and devotion. Thomas taught us to be grateful and challenged us to be strong. He reframed our understanding of blessing and redirected our petitions from our list of wants to the needs of those whose situations eclipsed our own. The impact of a person's life can never be measured in terms of candles on a birthday cake. This child's contribution to the unity and spiritual vitality of his community is of inestimable worth. If I live a hundred years more, I will do well to offer half so valuable a gift. Thank God for Thomas.

I cried when I saw the tribute to Thomas online. I have a great nephew who has been at St. Judes since April with AML. He just turned 2 years old last week. I feel so sad that children have to suffer and was touched by his story. God will wrap his arms around him and he will no longer have to endure the suffering of this world. I would love for everyone who can and is able to contribute money to St. Judes, who does so much for the childen and their families. May Thomas rest in peace and sending love and prayers to your family. God Bless.
