Obituary of Thomas Elliot

MARION, VIRGINIA: THOMAS "BOB" ELLIOTT, JR. age 73, died Friday, October 8, 2010 at his home in Marion. He was born May 6, 1937 in Smyth County to the late Thomas & Lois Elliott and was a retired corrections officer. Bob is survived by his wife, Donna Farmer Elliott of Marion, Virginia; one daughter, Kim Reasoner and husband, Scott of Greenwood Village, Colorado; two sons, Robert Elliott of Knoxville, Tennessee and Chris Elliott of Roswell, Georgia; two step-daughters, Amanda Terry and husband, Ricky of Chilhowie, Virginia and Jessica Heath of Kingsport, Tennessee; one step-son, Joshua Heath of Marion, Virginia; four grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery in Chilhowie. Family will receive friends Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
