Obituary of Johnnie Clark

MARION, VIRGINIA: JOHNNIE ROGER CLARK, age 63, died Monday, October 25, 2010 at Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Virginia. He was born July 6, 1947 in Smyth County, Virginia to the late Colonel and Mattie DeBord Clark, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Frank and Colonel Clark Jr.; one sister, Mildred Steffey; two nephews, Jerry and Ronnie Clark. Mr. Clark is survived by one sister, Ruby Worley of California; two brothers, Charlie Clark of Apple Valley, California; and Jim Clark of Martinsville, Virginia; sister-in-law, Hazel Clark of Marion, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia with Reverend Mike Sage officiating.
