Obituary of Phyllis McGhee

MARION, VIRGINIA: PHYLLIS JANE McGHEE, age 79, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. She was born January 9, 1931 in Chilhowie, Virginia to the late William and Virginia Blackwell Campbell. Phyllis worked at District Three for fourteen years, a job she dearly loved and enjoyed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. McGhee, Jr. Phyllis is survived by her son, Paul Greg McGhee and wife, Dora Lynn and two granddaughters, Brianne and Shania McGhee, all of Marion, Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Eddie Beck and Reverend Donna Hankla officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Marion, Virginia. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
