Obituary of Olivette Darnell

MARION, VIRGINIA: OLIVETTE HALL DARNELL, age 83, went to be with her Lord, August 3, 2010. She was born February 9, 1927 in Grayson County to the late Joseph Alexander and Grace Atwell Hall. Mrs. Darnell was preceded in death by her husbands, Garland Brown, Ernest Haulsey and James Darnell; seven brothers, three sisters, one son and one grandson. She is survived by two sons, Allen Haulsey of Marion, Virginia and Michael Darnell and wife, Nancy of Ruckersville, Virginia; two daughters, Judy Grady and husband, Eddie of Christiansburg, Virginia and Betty Carol Hall and husband, Jack of Marion, Virginia; two brothers, Isaac Hall of Arab, Alabama and David Hall of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one sister, Linda Pasley of Marion, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; special caregivers Rebecca Haga of Marion, Virginia and Anita Ross of Sugar Grove, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 at12:00 noon at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Brother David officiating. Private burial will be held in Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
