Dallas, Jama, James, Micah I am so sorry for the loss of Sammie. Every time I was having a bad day Sammie would come by a brighten up my day. To just see her smile made my day. I will miss seeing and talking to her every day. To Dennis, Hunter, Dustin, and Ryan Sammie loved you guys so much and was very excited about the engagement and being mommy Sam. These four boys absolutely thought the world of Sam. To my boys she was Aunt Sammie, and they will miss her dearly. I have cried so much because I have lost my one and only best friend in the world. Sammie can never be replaced she was a one of a kind person, always smiling a great pleasure to be around. I love you my Sammie, I will see you one day again.

Jama & Dallas, I am sorry I wasn't able to come to the funeral. I didn't find out about it in time. I am so,so sorry to hear about your daughter. I know how you must be feeling at this time. I keep remembering the foot-steps in the sand and I know that "We never walk alone." Jama and Dallas, You and Dallas use to work with my mom, Kathleen Nicholson. But I only knew Sam for just a short time, but she was a very sweet and caring person. I never got the chance to know Sam as good as some of the other people did. She had came over to my house a few times when she was dating Joel Cregger. She was such a sweet wonderful young woman. There are never any words to say or anything anyone can do to make the pain of losing a child go away but maybe reading this and all the others might bring some comfort to you during this time of sorrow. Samantha was always such a beautiful young lady, both inside and out. I was her school guidance counselor at Marion Intermediate and then in high school. We shared many tears and laughs. Sam will be greatly missed by my entire family. She was such a big part of our lives. Sammies was always smiling and caring. She loved Dennis and his sweet boys as if they were her own and my twins and my little girl were crazy about her. What can I say about Sam that everyone has not said already? Sam was vibrant, beautiful, loved and cherished by so many people but for way too short of a time. Sam took care of our son Austin like he was her own and he adored her since he was a baby. Dennis, never forget her and always remind those boys how much she loved them and you also. Dallas and Jama, you should feel blessed that you had such a wonderful daughter. I always said that she is like a daughter to us but the joy you must feel that she is a part of you is beyond explanation. James, what can I say? You were a brother, friend and protector to Sam since you were both young. She loved you so much and always know that she never forgot what you did for her while she was growing up. Micah, hold her in your heart always and she will always be with you. We pray that when you close your eyes and try to rest that you find peace in knowing that Sam will be in our dreams, hearts and memories forever.

Dear Sam, I miss you girl. When I found out, I cried so much knowing that one of my first friends when I moved to Virginia has left to go to a better place. I still have memories of our sleepovers, making Christmas decorations from blue popcorn, singing that song your Dad sang to us and only You, Nicki and I knew the words. I will never forget working with you at McDonald's, and sneaking helium from the stockroom in balloons and singing Mr. Lonely through the headsets. I remember coming home from College and coming to visit you at Food City when you worked in the deli and talking about the next time I came home, we would definately have to spend time with each other and catch up on our lives.
