Roger, I was saddened to hear that you lost your Father recently. It is so hard to let them go, but when they are in their mid 80's, it's hard to see them so feeble. My Dad is 86, with Alzheimer's, and my heart breaks to see him so fragile. I will keep you & your family in my prayers asking God to send His comfort and mercy to you all. I know you have lots of beautiful memories to sustain you in the future. God bless you. Anita Murray Dixon

I have such fond memories of your dad when your mother worked with my mother at MSHS. He was always so kind to me and always made me laugh. I know there are no words that can make the sadness go away quickly, but just know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Roger and Marcia, Your dad was one of my favorite people. Scoutmaster extraordinaire: took a sincere interest in each of us as if we were his own -- which in many ways, we were. Had not heard the garbage truck story. Priceless! Sounds just like him.
