With Deepest Sympathy to the family. So sorry to hear that Mrs. Davis had passed away. I grew up in Atkins and Mr. & Mrs. Davis were my neighbors for years. I moved away in 1976. She was a great music teacher and neighbor. She will be greatly missed. God Bless you and your family.

It is sad to hear of the passing of Mrs Davis. I took Piano Lessons from her for 12 years. She always could bring out the best in an idividual for entertainment. I'll never forget when she talked me into being the only male as the groom in the wedding skit she wanted to do between performances at the Recital. Or the time she changed all the words to Harper Valley PTA and had me sing Atkins Tank PTA. She will be missed by all.

How fortunate Meemaw's family and friends were to have her in their lives for so many years. Though I didn't see her often, the times I spent with her were filled with joy and laughter. May the wonderful Meemaw memories each of you carries in your heart always bring a smile to your face.

With loving memories we say goodby to one of the sweetest and most endearing personalities we have ever had the privelege of knowing. "Memaw", as she was known to her family members, was funny, bright and a joy to be around. Though I only knew her for 5 years, my husband Bill had the pleasure of knowing Memaw for 17 years. No matter how long it was, it just wasn't long enough. We will miss your humor, your charming stories, your wonderful self. God bless you Memaw and may you forever watch over your daughter, Jeanette, and your entire family with the loving heart you have shared with us throughout your lifetime. With love, Mary Kay and Bill

I've known this lady 30 years. After Mom died, Dad struck up a courtship and they almost married, but Dad died! One day, my Dad and I came to her door, I stood in front, and when she opened the door, she saw me, said "Wrong man!" and began to close the door. But just as quickly, with her usual twinkle and chuckle, she swung the door open wide and invited us in. After Dad died, I visited often, parked my 18-wheeler by the highway and because the lively conversation would extend into the wee hours of the morning, spend the night. We'd chuckle about the gossip we might be generating, Hildred and her trucker friend. Never lovers, just friends for all the years since. Now she's bound to be tinkling the heavenly ivory! Can you imagine what that heavenly organ sounds like now? And wonder how many patrons she's got! She enjoyed her patrons! We'll miss her but memories will linger and comfort. We celebrate all 98 of her years with us! With Love Always, Garland

I took piano lessons from her for 5 years, I only wish that I had kept up with it. She was a wonderful teacher and I have so many memories of her singing to the hymns that I would play for her. I met many fellow-players thoughout my time with her and think about her often. Thank you, Mrs. Davis for the patience of instruction and my wonderful memories of my younger years. God bless your family and may you play with the angels in heaven now. Prayers to the family.
