Dear Aaron, I wanted to express my sincere condolences in the passing of your dad. I feel lucky to have had the privilege of getting to know him over these past several months. As classmates at MSHS, Alan and I shared many fun times (our grades showed it). Although I have been away from Marion for many years, Alan and I ocassionally spoke on the telephone . In fact, I owe him a call. We have all lost a good friend; but, I know my life is richer due to our paths having crossed.

Allan was a great man and friend. He never turned a person away from his door. He instilled a lot of values in all of us. Now I hope he knows how much he was loved and appreciated. We can all aspire to be as good of a man as he was.

Christy, Pat and family, I am going to miss Allen so much. He was the only client I allowed to call me "Darlin"...sometimes he would call me "sunshine". He would just laugh.
