Obituary of Mattie Mullins

MARION, VIRGINIA: MATTIE MAE MULLINS, age 82, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at her home in Marion, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Rettie Stidham Miller; her daughter, Shirley Diane Mullins and several other loved and cherished family members. She is survived by four daughters, E. Wanda Worley and James Breeding of Christiansburg, Virginia, Brenda Dancy and husband, Sam of Marion, Virginia, Linda Bailey Greer and husband, Clarence of Rocky Mount, Virginia, Mary Mullins Absher and husband, Kenneth of Marion, Virginia; three sons, Wayne Mullins and wife, Faye of West Palm Beach, Florida, Eugene Mullins and wife, Cathy of Rocky Mount, Virginia, Tommy Mullins of Marion, Virginia; one sister, Gay Miller of Marion, Virginia, one brother, Reggie Miller of Marion, Virginia; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Rife, Reverend Harlan Greer and Reverend Tim Greer officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Taylor Cemetery in Lansing, North Carolina.
