Obituary of Randy Parks

RANDY GENE PARKS, age 58, died Friday, April 9, 2010 at his home. He was employed by Virginia House Furniture for over 20 years. He enjoyed a wide range of activities during his life, including riding motorcycles, hunting, dirt track and drag racing as well as visiting with friends; he always had a story to tell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Betty Davis Parks and many close friends. He is survived by two daughters, Denise Sierra and husband, Albino of Roxboro, North Carolina and Destiny Huffman and husband, Billy of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one sister, Lucille Parks and husband, Bo of Darlington, Maryland; three brothers, Raymond R.B. Parks of Sugar Grove, Virginia, James Parks and Dolly Privett of Flat Ridge, Virginia and Butch, Jr. and Phyllis Parks of Abingdon, Maryland; five grandchildren, Amber, Brittany and Dillon Huffman and Angela and Alex Sierra. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Billy Gwinn officiating.
