Obituary of Nancy Armbrister

NANCY SHERIE DOUGLAS ARMBRISTER, age 74, died on March 13, 2010 in Marion, VA. She was raised in Colonial Heights, VA, earned her Nursing degree from Stewart Circle and served as Pediatric Nursing Supervisor at UVA Hospital. She began her studies in English at UVA and later completed her English Degree at Emory & Henry College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles & Rachel Douglas of Colonial Heights, VA and her brother Stewart Douglas of Virginia Beach, VA. She is survived by four children Valerie Evans (and her husband Roy), Victor Armbrister, Christopher Armbrister (and his wife Glenda) & Karen Houck. Five grandchildren Rachel Evans, Creed Evans, Henry Evans, Lakyn Reinoso (and her husband JuanCarlos) and Billie Jean Houck. And one great-grandchild to be, Victor Oscar Reinoso. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 15, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Neville Mozingo officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral Services will also be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss Funeral Home of Petersburg, VA with Reverend Fred Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at J.T. Morris Funeral Home.
