Dear Family, I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Echols death. He had a small farm in Smyth County when I worked at the Farm Service Agency in Marion. He always a pleasnt person to work with. My sympathy to you.

My thoughts & prayers go out to the family. Mr. Echols was so kind to let me work for him during my high school years through business co-op and receive credits for school. He was a delight to work for and always such a nice man. I had great respect for him and learned alot working for him. I am sure he will be missed.
