Johnson & Patty, What a very special and caring person your Dad was throughout his life. When visiting his parents, he brought his blood pressure cuff and took family member's blood pressure, gave sound advice, medications, etc. When Dad developed symptoms of Parkinson's Disease he drove him to Roanoke to see a Neurologist former classmate of his. He will greatly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Mary

Dear Johnson and Patty, I am so sorry about you losing your Dad. I am also sorry the snow kept me from getting to Marion to see you all. I would love to meet your family. Your parents were great friends and neighbors. Love, Gloria

I am deely saddened by your loved one's passing. My first memory of him was when I was a very small child who had only seen the Old Family Physian, Dr. Neal. (he delivered me at home.) After Dr. Neal's passing my parents had a hard time providing medical care for their puny, often sick daughter.Dr. Eller and Nurse Hagy built up my trust to the point I refused to see other Doctors. Dr. Eller patiently gave me my frequent penicillin shots because 'everyone' elses hurt! He told me they just had dull needles. Until I moved, he was my Family Doctor. I once told him he looked just like Perry Como and that brought a wide grin. I can't remember telling him how much I loved and appreciated him so I'm telling you. He was a wonderful Doctor and person and I loved him. God Bless You, Jewell Burke
