Mrs. Chase and family, Our hearts go out to you all. I had the great pleasure of knowing Ray from when I worked with him Years back. He was such a wonderful man and a great joy to be around. Him and I would sit and talk most days before work and was always a great way to start my day. He will be so greatly missed. If there is any thing I can do please let me know.

Raena, Sharon and Daniel, My thoughts are with you all. I just heard that Ray had passed away and am so sorry. Chris lost his dad two years ago (only 54 years old). It just doesn't make sense, does it? Please know that I am thinking of you and still love you all very much.

Dear Family, Though I did not know Mr. Chase personally, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest sympathy to the family. No doubt the loss of such a dear loved one will be felt my many. Long ago, the faithful man Job asked if an able-bodied man died could he live again. The comforting answer is yes. Our God the Creator yearns to bring back to life those who have died (Job 14:13-15). May this and other promises recorded in God's Word the Bible continue to carry your family in this critical time.

Sharon, Daniel, Raena and family ~ In this life, only a handful of times are we privileged to know someone as special as Ray. He has truly made a difference in the lives of so many, through his everyday actions and his love of life, family, and community. Raena said it best~ "Nobody has a better Daddy than me!" Keeping all of you in our hearts ~ Lonnie and Family

To say Raymond Chase was a good man is a huge understatement. You would think that serving his country in the Army during Vietnam and being awarded the Bronze Star would be all you would need to know to see that he was a good man. This would be true, and yet, what made him a great man came after that. He was a wonderful husband to Sharon. This was obvious. He was the best father to Daniel and my truest friend, Raena. That's obvious by the kind of people they grew up to be. Then, he became the most awesome grandfather that ever lived to Hunter, whom he adored. He showed kindness and friendliness and humor to all, including me. He was a great man and I am grateful to have known him.
