Obituary of Anna Cregger

CERES / WYTHEVILLE, VIRGINIA: ANNA PAULINE CREGGER, age 61 died, Saturday, November 28, 2009 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia, when the Lord whispered into an angel's ear, "Pauline" and in one breath she was taken away. God knows how we cried and sorrow filled our hearts. Her time with us was short, but the Lord had made a place at His table for her this day. Pauline was born October 10, 1948, the daughter of the late Joel and Mary Shupe. She is survived by her husband and soul mate of 46 years, William "Bill" Cregger of Wytheville, Virginia; three daughters, Susie Cregger, Kathy Bishop and companion William Porter, Etta Cregger and companion Mike Mitchell, all of Wytheville, Virginia; three sons, David Cregger and wife Pat of Wytheville, Virginia, Stuart and Robert Reed-Cregger of Pulaski, Virginia, Timmy Cregger and fiancé Felicia Osborne of Atkins, Virginia; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Susie Shupe, Mike and Dorie Shupe, all of Ceres, Virginia, Billy Shupe of Wytheville, Virginia, Billy Ellison of Marion, Virginia; several sisters-in-law of Smyth County, Virginia; six grandchildren, Alicia, Tiffany, Tommy, Brandon, Cody and Sabrina; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Bryan; two special friends, Jerry and Mildred Yates. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Chatham Hill Baptist Church in Rich Valley, Virginia with the Reverend Jerry Yates and Reverend Steve Hutton officiating. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Nebo, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday evening at Seaver-Brown Chapel from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
