Obituary of Dorothy Wolfe

MARION, VIRGINIA: DOROTHY SOLOMON WOLFE, age 92, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 4, 1917 to the late Charles A. and Susann Holley Solomon. She was a retired Bookkeeper for the City of Bristol, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death her beloved husband, Charles N. Wolfe and ten siblings. Dorothy was the last surviving member of the Solomon Family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Marion, Virginia and had been very active in the United Methodist Women. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; a very special friend and caregiver, Lisa Moore of Atkins, Virginia; several kind and loving neighbors and friends also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Jonas officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
