Obituary of Roy Hill

MARION, VIRGINIA: ROY "SWEET" HILL, age 65, died Wednesday, October 07, 2009 in Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Virginia. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. "Sweet" will be greatly missed by his many, many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Katherine Hill; one sister, Brenda Lyles; and one nephew, Curtis Hill. He is survived by two daughters, Tina Carrico of Bristol, Virginia and Renee Delp of Marion, Virginia; one son, Tony Hill of Christiansburg, Virginia; one brother, David Hill and wife, Nina of Sugar Grove, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Amber Blevins, Veronica, Ashley and Alicia Carrico; Hunter, Katie and Alex Delp and Katherine Hill; two great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law, Amy Hill of White Top, Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Miracle by Faith Tabernacle, Saltville, Virginia with Reverend Jamie Davidson officiating. The Family would like to express sincere gratitude to the First Floor Nursing Staff, Valley Health Care Center with special appreciation to Rita Gravley, Sharon Dunford and Hospice of Southwest Virginia for their remarkable care.
