Obituary of Dallas Kirk
SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: DALLAS G. KIRK, age 73, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at his home in Sugar Grove, Virginia.
Dallas was a member of Brookside Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Kirk; his parents, Roby and Winnie Brooks Kirk; and a brother, Joe Kirk.
He is survived by one sister, Nancy Gollehon of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one brother William E. Kirk and wife, Linda of Marion, Virginia; sister-in-law, Joyce Kirk of Sugar Grove, Virginia; brother-in-law, Ray Poe and wife, Virginia of Lansing, North Carolina; three nieces and one nephew also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Donald Medley and Reverend Bill Guy officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:30 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel or anytime at the home of his sister, Nancy Gollehon of Sugar Grove, Virginia. Graveside Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Kirk Family Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Cindy Morrison of Hospice of Southwest Virginia, Wytheville, Virginia and other staff members who assisted with his wonderful care. Also, much appreciation is given to his many, many special friends.
