Obituary of Dallas Kirk

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: DALLAS G. KIRK, age 73, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at his home in Sugar Grove, Virginia. Dallas was a member of Brookside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Kirk; his parents, Roby and Winnie Brooks Kirk; and a brother, Joe Kirk. He is survived by one sister, Nancy Gollehon of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one brother William E. Kirk and wife, Linda of Marion, Virginia; sister-in-law, Joyce Kirk of Sugar Grove, Virginia; brother-in-law, Ray Poe and wife, Virginia of Lansing, North Carolina; three nieces and one nephew also survive. Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Donald Medley and Reverend Bill Guy officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:30 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel or anytime at the home of his sister, Nancy Gollehon of Sugar Grove, Virginia. Graveside Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Kirk Family Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family would like to express a special thank you to Cindy Morrison of Hospice of Southwest Virginia, Wytheville, Virginia and other staff members who assisted with his wonderful care.
