Dearest B.B., I just learned about Dr. Derian's passing. B.B. I am so very sorry. I can still remember very well the first time I ever met Dr. Derian, he was so nice as he led Sunshine through the waiting room and telling all his pts. that they should be so happy and carefree. Then they went into his office and danced to the radio. This was before she was 2 yrs. old. I will remember you and your family in my prayers. God bless you.

I am very sorry to hear that a friend has been called home with the lord. I was Dr. Derians first patient in marion va with a broken arm. I owe my life to this man as if it were not for him I would not be here today. He had not even opened his practice. He came from his home and saved my life. I have talked with him on several occasions since then and will most definitely miss his voice and very kind heart. I would like to get a copy of his books that he wrote about me in some his works. Dear BB and Family, Bobby and I are so very sorry to hear of Dr. Derian's passing. We feel very blessed to have known him, what a wonderful man he was! From the minute we moved into the neighborhood, Dr. Derian just took us right under his wing, he always waved, greeted us with a chipper smile, and we ALWAYS had to discuss the cat, Miss Moo! I am sorry for your loss, but rest assured those of us he has helped will always remember his loving and giving heart. He helped me when I was an infant because of him I have had chances I would never have had. I have heard many wonderful things about him through out the years. Later as an adult, I had the opportunity to meet him and say thank you. He helped me as I was trying to help a young child with a similar problem. May God be with you all and comfort you! BB, Bill, Taylor, and the Rest, Although I know that you are relieved that Mike had a peaceful passing, I am sad that he reached that point before his 120th. The last time I saw him at our healing service, he had on his running shoes and a t-shirt from a race--evidence of a strong human spirit that would soon assume its lifelong goal to be a heavenly spirit. Unless a commitment made over a month ago to take an out-of-state section hiking father and son team to a remote AT trailhead is cancelled by them, I will be doing that at the time of the funeral. I am also very thankful that recently Margaret and I had the privelege of sharing a visit with him and B.B. while delivering soup.
