Obituary of Elizabeth Hall

JEFFERSON, GEORGIA: ELIZABETH SHERRILL TILSON HALL, "LIZZIE", age, 84, passed away Friday, September 11, 2009 in Jefferson, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross "Poppy" Tilson and Winnie Davis Debord Tilson, "Winnie". She is survived by her husband, Reverend D. Chester Hall Sr., "Chet" of Jefferson, GA; one daughter Loretta Joy Hancock "Joy" of Jefferson, Georgia; two sons, Daniel Chester Hall Jr. "Dan" of Gainesville, Georgia, Marvin Alan Hall "Alan" of LaGrange, Kentucky; one brother, Harry Edward Tilson, of Falls Church, Virginia; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel in Marion, Virginia with Reverend Smitty Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Smyth County, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 pm. Until 8:00 p.m at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
