Dear Family, Though I did not know Mr. Ferrell personally, I want to take a moment to express my deepest sympathy to you. No doubt the loss of such a dear loved one will be felt by many. Long ago, the faithful man job asked if an able-bodied man died could he live again. The comforting answer is yes. Our God the Creator yearns to bring back tolife those who have died (Job 14:13-15). May this and other promises recorded in God's Word the Bible continue to carry your family in this critical time.

To the Ferrel Family, My heart is saddened by your loss. My childhood is filled with memories of Frankie and Leo. The backyard cookouts and playing with Tyler and Graham when they were just babies. I remember you all coming over to the house and the poker games. I am lucky enough to say that Leo gave my son Joseph his first haircut. Some days when I have bus duty outside at the middle school, I look over and remember those days. Thanks for the memories!!! The heavenly golf club is rejoicing as they welcome a fellow golfer to greener pastures than we have ever witnessed. God Bless!

I will never forget Leo for allowing me to finish my hours in his shop in Marion so that I could remain close to my children and receive my hairdressers license. I remember the many fun times and laughs in squaredance classes. He was a huge inspiration to my boys as they became interested in golf. No one could swing a club so effortlessly with such accuracy. Foremost in my mind is the sweet smile when he looked at Frankie or the children. He loved you all so very much. I am so sorry for your loss. My love, Ginger

Leo has been my barber since I was a kid and that is many years ago. I expressed to him many times that I wouldn't know what to do about the haircuts if something ever happened to him. With that we always had a good laugh because I had some bad experiences where I had to allow someone else to cut my hair. Leo was more than a barber, he was good individual to talk to and share your stories with. His favorite stories was always about his wife, kids and grand-kids. Being a grandfather myself I found the conversations very pleasant. My prayers will be lifted up for each of his loved ones in the days to come.

The Ferrells, I am disheartened to learn the passing of my lifelong barber. From my first hair cut at the Rexall Drug Store as a petrified child to my last a month or so ago, I always chose to sit in Leo's chair. Only a handful of hair cuts during that time span were cut by someone else; I refused on several occasions the service of other barbers, and when it was paramount to have it done, I didn't know how to tell them to cut it--- I never knew. I want to extend my condolences to the family; Leo touched much more than my hair.

Dear Teri, Frankie, Scott, Greg, and family, We were so very sorry to hear of the passing of Leo. Even though it has been a little over 18 years since my father died, I do know how you are feeling. It is so hard to lose a loved one but I think it even harder to watch that loved one suffer through pain and sickness for any length of time. They are blessed to be free of their illnesses. I like to believe that they are now able to be with us in spirit still enjoying our accomplishments as well as our children's. Your children were so lucky to have known their grandfather for a length of time and to be able to have wonderful memories of him...they will always have that and you as well. Enjoy this time remembering his life and all of those memories that will come to you through friends and family this weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Much love Ellen, Kokie, Marshall, Sam, and Margaret
