The world has lost a good servant devoted to the betterment of mankind--one giving and loving deed at a time. Slightly wicked (he had a wonderful sense of the absurd--he got it!), and devoted to the right causes (to mention no particular political affiliation!); ever wiling to stand tall on principle--Jimmy is (yes, he is!) a unique force. I love you Miss Charlotte and Mark. Mark, you are your father's son. Charlotte, you are valiant and good--may love sustain and nurture you. Such a terrible earthly loss, but he so loved that he is here forever. Love C.

I started working with Legal Aid when I was 19 years old (more than 30 years ago!). Jimmy took me "under his wing" and was extraordinarily kind and helpful to me when I showed up at the courthouse wondering how to file whatever paper our lawyer had given me. My duties and my relationship with Jimmy changed over all these years; but I have never known Jimmy as anything other than courteous and kind - he was such a gentleman. I am going to miss him so much! Charlotte and Mark - please know you have my condolences.

We were so sorry to hear that Mr. Warren had passed away. Although I did not know him that well, he was a great family friend to my parents (Ed and Kelly Strickland). I will never forget the kindness he showed when Dad passed away. I went by his office to make an appointment, but he cleared his schedule and spent over an hour with me. He not only covered the details of estate management but took the time to guide me through the process and share some of his memories of both of my parents. He was truly a class individual, and the community will miss him. We keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

There is a lot of truth to ?we preach our own funeral? and I truly believe that Jimmy Warren indeed achieved this with great dignity! I consider it an honor to have known Jimmy; he was an inspiration to all that he came in contact with. There are so many kind words that people have spoken about him, Mark take comfort in knowing that he touched so many lives and made such an impact on people from all walks of life and just think you got to call him ?Dad?. Jimmy's life was well-lived & he was well-loved and he will be deeply missed. The world would be a better place if it were graced by more men like your Dad.
