Obituary of Carolyn Eller

MARION, VIRGINIA: CAROLYN DARLENE ROUSE ELLER, age 48, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 in Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee. Born March 28, 1956 in Smyth County, Virginia, to Irene Powers Rouse and the late Robert Rouse, she was a wonderful mother to her five children and at her request she was an organ donor in order to help others. Besides her father she was also preceded in death by her husband Cecil Eller. Carolyn is survived by her mother, Irene Rouse of Marion, Virginia. Three daughters and two sons-in-law, Stacey and Gene Jones, DeAnna and Mike Kirby, and Samantha Eller all of Marion, Virginia. Two sons, Daman Eller and Jordan Eller of Marion, Virginia. Two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Miller of Marion, Virginia, and Pam and Jerry Miller of Elizabethton, Tennessee. Three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Anne Rouse of Galax, Virginia; Bobby and Joann Rouse and Larry and Porkey Rouse all of Marion, Virginia. Five grandchildren, Dillan and Jacob Jones, Devin and Madison Kirby, and Dyman Eller also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 23, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Jerry Carver officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Fork Cemetery, Seven Mile Ford, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Pallbearers will be her nephews, David Anderson, Daniel Sheets, Andy Norman, Michael Miller, Brian Miller, Greg Rouse, Vincent Rakes, and friend, Brandon Eddy. The family would like to give special thanks to the ICU Nursing Staff of Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee, and the staff of the Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Seaver-Brown Funeral Service to help the children with the funeral expenses.
