Obituary of Emmitt Harrison

MARION, VIRGINIA: EMMITT CLINTON HARRISON, age 81, Friday, July 17, 2009 at Francis Marion Manor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Harrison and a son, Emmitt Harrison, Jr.; parents Darl and Cora Harrison; four brothers; and four sisters. He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Harrison Rice of Marion, Virginia; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dickie and Dodie Harrison of Marion, Virginia and Tom Harrison of Washington, D.C.; one granddaughter, Shana Rector; one sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Howard Brown of Roanoke, Virginia; one brother and sister-in-law, Ervin and Beulah Harrison, Christiansburg, Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend R. L. Fry officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery where Military Rites will be conducted by Francis Marion VFW Post # 4667.
