Lee Graybeal posted a condolence
Friday, June 12, 2009
Dear Denton and family, I am so sad for all of you over the death of Sarah. Sarah had the ability to look at you and see straight through to the goodness in your heart. Her smile was genuine and sincere and you couldn't help but smile in return when she looked at you and grinned. The last time I saw her was when she came to the house after daddy died and she commented, "you know, you will get to see him again one day in heaven." I believe that, just like I believe all of you will see her again one day in heaven. Our love to all of you in her family, Mary Ann, Carol, Lynn, Lee and Ellen Graybeal

Denton & Family, We are sorry for your loss. Although we did not know Sarah personally, we knew her through the impact she had on your life, and the impact your life had, in turn, on our son Philip while at Ahistadi with you. Philip has carried your leadership example with him this summer to a Campus Crusade camp in Colorado, where he will be leading underprivileged young people from the streets of Denver. We feel sure that Sarah's love lives on. The Ernst Family (Phil, Linda, Philip, Sarah, & Emory)

Denton and Family, We are grieved with you in your loss. We are also sorry that we will not be present tonight. Hope is a little fatigued. Your Sarah was (is) a treasure. She has never been more alive than she is right now in the presence of her risen Savior! Because of Hope's health problems (multiple sclerosis)we haven't seen Sarah much in recent years. However, the last three times I saw her, she never talked about herself and the daily burden she bore. Instead she always asked about Hope, and seemed so interested and concerned for her wellbeing. Totally unselfish! It is our hope and fervent prayer that the presence and power of our risen Christ, and the meaning of the Gospel will never be more sweet and powerful than it is right now! You have our love, and the prayers of our little church! In Christ, Tom and Hope Sullivan

MY GRANDDAUGHTER, EMMA GRACE ROWLAND, WAS A STUDENT OF SARAH'S THIS YEAR. EMMA IS A VERY MATURE, THOUGHTFUL CHILD, AND I COULD TELL SHE WAS THINKING ABOUT SARAH THE NIGHT OF THE GRADUATION. I HOPE IT BRINGS YOUR FAMILY SOME COMFORT TO KNOW WHAT EMMA TOLD ME AFTER THE CEREMONIES LAST WEEK. I ASKED HER IF SHE LIKED THE NEW TEACHER. SHE SAID, AND I'M QUOTING HER EXACTLY, "YES, BUT, GRANDMAMMA,YOU KNOW WHO I LIKE THE BEST? I LIKE MRS. STALEY. SHE'S BEEN SICK, BUT I HOPE SHE GETS TO GO BACK AND TEACH THE CHILDREN." EMMA HAD BEEN PRAYING FOR SARAH.EMMA REALLY LIKED SARAH FROM THEIR FIRST MEETING AND SPOKE OFTEN OF HER DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. I FIRST MET SARAH WHEN I WENT TO GET EMMA AT SCHOOL. I KNOW YOUR MOTHER, AND I WAS IMMEDIATELY STRUCK BY SARAH'S LIKENESS TO HER, BOTH IN APPEARANCE AND IN HER KIND MANNERISMS. MY HUSBAND T.J. AND I ARE SO SORRY THAT YOU'VE HAD TO LET HER GO!I KNOW YOU'RE A GOOD,STRONG FAMILY, AND I KNOW OUR GOD WILL COMFORT YOU.

Dear Staley family, Mrs. Staley was an awesome lady. She displayed a love of God in everything she did and wrote. Our son WK was in preschool with her nine years ago and this year our little girl,Madison, has been blessed as well to spend her three year old days with Mrs. Staley. Words cannot express how she will be missed but we want you to know we loved her. She was so good to our children and showed them such compassion and love. Without a doubt Mrs. Staley is in Heaven. Know that God is awesome and His grace is sufficient. Sincerely, Ronnie, Melissa, WK and Madison Dalton

To Sarah's family, Thank you for including us in the Email sent by John earlier today. All of you are very much in our hearts and prayers this evening and will continue to be. We wish we could be present at the service. Mother is hoping to come to one of the commemorative events. Your Sarah entered Mother's life up-close several years ago, but never more so than in the last year has she been so dear to Mother. She visited Mother in the hospital and at home during Mother's recuperation from hip surgery. She had Mother and me for dinner at a famiy gathering in their home in February. It was an evening neither Mother nor I will ever forget. And just about the time it was apparent she was sick again, Mother and I received a thank you card from her for some very small kindness we had done. I will never forget her. I know she is with our Lord. We will miss the light of His presence shining though her here on earth. Love to all of you, Va.& Fred Karnas & Carolyn Forrest
