Obituary of Joanne Stamper

SEVEN MILE FORD, VIRGINA: JOANNE BLEVINS STAMPER, age 68, died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, Virginia. She worked as an LPN at Smyth County Community Hospital and also at Valley Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by two sons Tim E. and Randy L. Stamper. She is survived by her husband Roy E. Stamper of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia; one daughter and son-n-law, Sonya and Preston Boone of Springhill, Florida; one sister and brother-n-law, Wanda and Sonny Sims of Ogden, Utah; two brothers and sisters-n-law, Ronnie and Patricia Blevins and Garry and Ruth Blevins all of Marion, Virginia; six grandchildren, Brandon and Trevor Cassell, Summer, Ryan, and Cody Boone, and Jason Stamper; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 11, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Donald Mutter officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at South Fork Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
