Obituary of Lilly Coe

RICH VALLEY, VIRGINIA: LILLY EVELYN CATRON COE, age 89, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in Ridgefield Assisted Living in Seven-Mile Ford, Virginia. She was a native of Smyth County, Virginia and retired from Southwestern State Hospital. She attended Goodwill Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Hattie "Sis" Woodward of Rich Valley, Virginia; three sons, Paul K. Coe and Beattie E. Coe of Bedford County, Virginia, Gary Dean Coe of Rural Retreat, Virginia; two half- sisters, Frances Canupp of Concord, North Carolina, Ann Tidwell of Carolina Beach, North Carolina; one half-brother, Frank Patterson of Concord, North Carolina; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 13, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Steve Hutton officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ridgedale United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rich Valley, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel in Marion, Virginia. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
