Obituary of Charlotte Stump

MARION, VIRGINIA: CHARLOTTE A. STUMP, age 82, died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Smyth County Community Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. "Moon" Stump and son-in-law, Charles Gary Shaw. She is survived by one daughter, Amy Shaw of Nokesville, Virginia; one son and daughter-in-law, Eddy and Mary Preston Stump of Marion, Virginia; one brother, Roger Anderson of Darnestown, Maryland; five grandchildren, Michael, Brian and Patrick Shaw, Kristen and Sarah Stump. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Seaver-Brown Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Mark Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Seaver-Brown Chapel from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to Marion Baptist Church, 1258 North Main Street, Marion, Virginia 24354.
