Obituary of Susie Farrington

MARION, VIRGINIA: SUSIE LEYULA BLEVINS FARRINGTON, age 85, died Monday, March 23, 2009 in Francis Marion Manor. She was born in Wilkes County, North Carolina to the late Elisah and Frances C. Blevins. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Freddie (Vester) Farrington; several brothers and one sister. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Ora Blevins of North Carolina; three step-children, Robert Farrington of Maryland, Clella Yarbough of North Carolina and Gladys Ellis of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Alice Shoun of North Carolina and Lois Russell of Marion, Virginia; special caregiver, Connie Robbins, and staff and friends at Francis Marion Manor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend Steve Hutton officiating. Graveside services will follow at Lowman Valley Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
