To the family of Margie Atkins: I lived across the street from Margie and her family as a child. We played together and walked to school together. In the winter we were all bundled up in those scratchy snowsuits and in the spring when we had to wear long socks we would push them down as soon as we got around the corner. We went thru high school together and remained friends. I knew who Johnny was but we never talked much. After hs I didn't see much of Margie as my husband followed his work across the country. Over the years I thought of her many times. She was a beautiful, friendly person with a lot of class. My condolences go out to you, I know you will miss her greatly. Peggy

Johnny, Dedi and I were so saddened to learn of Marjorie's death and would to extend to you and the family our deepest sympathy. When I think of Margie I always remember back to our picture in the annual when she was homecoming queen. We were all so sorry that you two were unable to attend the last class reunion. High school memories and the people we grew up with are always special to us but she was certainly a favorite. Again, our deepest sympathy, Bob (Bub) and Dedi Hastings
