Obituary of Larry Bailey

MARION, VIRGINIA: LARRY G. BAILEY, age 60, died Friday, January 23, 2009 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army. As a member of the U.S. Army he won the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, and the Army Service Ribbon. Larry was a free spirit who enjoyed riding with his loving wife and their Harley Davidson Friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Laurie Barton Bailey; and his parents, Rick and Geneva Parks Bailey. He is survived by an aunt, Ruby Farris and husband, Bill of Marion, Virginia; and several cousins, Sandi King of Marion, Virginia, Debi Behm and husband, Steve of Chandler, Arizona, Becky Edwards and husband, Don of Hamilton, Ohio and Belinda Spencer and husband, Glenn of Evans, Georgia and Sarah Manry and husband, Michael of Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Don Tate officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
