Obituary of Betty Mays

MARION, VIRGINIA: BETTY JEAN MAYS, age 79, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the Wexford House in Kingsport, Tennessee. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by three daughters, Jean Carol Mullins of Pikeville, Kentucky, Patsy Hooper of Marion, Virginia, and Wanda Lamplugh of Blountville, Tennessee; one son, James Steven Mays of Port St. Lucie, Florida; one sister, Mary Stone of North Carolina; one brother, James Denny Coe of South Carolina; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Graveside services will be Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. at the Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Virginia.
