We were so sad to hear of Johnny's passing. Whenever we were in town we would stop and have a nice visit with him. Don has a lot of fond memories when he was young and we extend our deepest sympathy to the entire family. Don (Blackie) & Arlene Atkins

Sherry,Ben, and all of the Family, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time! Your father was an incredible gentleman, and such a wonderful dad and grandad!!!1 When I took care of your mother, he was so extremely nice and considerate, and showed so much love to her. He was also such a stable part of our little community, Atkins will not be the same without him. But, I hope you take comfort in knowing that he is safe in Heaven now, and you will join him and your mom someday. I was out of town for his services, but if I can do anything for you'll PLEASE call. Mr. Atkins was a kind and humble man. We last saw him at the Atkins School meeting. He was proud of his family and community. I recall how very important his church was to him. Our thoughts and prayers, Karen, Jim and Jamelyn Gillespie
