Obituary of Alvie Buchanan JR

ALVIE WOODROW BUCHANAN, JR., age 74, of Falling Waters, West Virginia, died Friday, August 15, 2008, at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He was born August 24, 1933 in Chatham Hill, Virginia, the son of the late A. Woodrow Buchanan, Sr., and Mary Sheffield Buchanan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a stone salesman, retired from Aggregate Industries. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Sprinkle Buchanan; a son, Michael Buchanan of Frederick, Maryland; one daughter, Sherri Buchanan, of Williamsport, Maryland; one grandchild; and a sister, Sandra Bozoian. Mr. Buchanan was preceded in death by a brother, Morris D. Buchanan. Graveside Memorial Services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Mausoleum with Rev.
