Obituary of Ellen Tilson

MARION, VIRGINIA: ELLEN HASH TILSON, age 77, died Friday, August 08, 2008 at Smyth County Community Hospital. Mrs. Tilson was employed at Harwood Manufacturing Company for 48 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville A. Tilson; her father and mother, Albert and Ida Hash; brothers, Lester and Ford Phillips. She is survived by one daughter, Betty Tilson of Marion, Virginia; one granddaughter, Wendy M. Russell and fiancée, Denver L. Cregger of Silverthorne, Colorado; two sisters and one-brother-in-law, Treva M. and William Wood, and Hazel Carol Gilley all of Marion, Virginia; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert and Louise Hash, and Jake Hash all of Marion, Virginia. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, August 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
