Obituary of Henry Hall

ATKINS, VIRGINIA: HENRY "SANFORD" HALL, age 76, died Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was employed at Virginia Department of Transportation for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Anna King Hall; and one sister, Theresa McKay. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Morris Hall of Atkins, Virginia; three daughters, Vicky Hall, Shelly Hall, and Sharon Hall all of Atkins, Virginia; one son, Barron Hall of Atkins, Virginia; one special grandson, Jacob Sizemore "his little buddy"; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathleen Pennington and husband, Joe of Troutdale, Virginia, Hallie Levins of Crystal Rivers, Florida, Hazel Folden and husband, Don of Roanoke, Virginia, Jo Anne Huffman and husband, David of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Emma Huffman and husband, Gary of Tobaccoville, North Carolina; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean Hall and wife, Helen, and Perry Hall all of Atkins, Virginia, and Cecil Hall and wife, Revonda of Marion, Virginia; one brother-in-law, Donald McKay of Rural Retreat, Virginia; one uncle, Glen King of Rural Retreat, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and two special horses, Clifford and Tony also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Otis Barker and Rev. Frank Yarber officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Gardens in Atkins, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
