Aunt Sue and family, I am so glad that I was able to see him on Sunday before we left to come back to Cincy. I will always remember sitting on your front porch and listening to him play the fiddle and all the wonderful stories he used to share. Even though I only got to see him about once a year I will miss him deeply. I cherish the CD that you both were able to record. He introduced Chris to what "real" music is. I love you both more then you will ever know.

Sue and family, We were sorry to learn of Hick's passing; we met him in 1991 when we were in Houston for Steve & Ann's wedding and you all were at Cindy's. Uncle Hick was a great guy. I remember staying out at the house in holler and it got blacker than black could get at night. The old creek and saw mill were my favorite places he always liked to show me and tell me about. My condolences to Aunt Sue, we love you and wish we could be there.
