Dear Jimmy, Charlotte and Mark, My heart is so sad for all of you over the loss of Cheryl. I know she brought you much joy and happiness over the years. I so loved the picture you had of her in the paper - it captured her smile in such a special way. Somebody shared a quote with us when daddy died and I want to share it with you. It has brought me much peace and I hope it does the same for you. "Perhaps they are not stars at all but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost one pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. A look at the stars, a touch of a hand...you are wished whatever comforts you,you are wished whatever brings peace to your heart." My love to all of you, Lee Graybeal Smith

Dear Jimmy & Family, I was saddened and shocked to learn of Cheryl's death. I knew Cheryl through SCALE in the late 1980s - she exuded warmth and love for her clients, staff, and friends. I feel privileged to have known her and to have witnessed her love for God and all of Creation. She was truly filled with the Love and Peace of God. One precious memory of Cheryl is visiting her at her Rural Retreat house with my infant daughter and sitting in the sunroom filled with prisms, watching sunbeams dance all across the room. Cheryl is now one of those sunbeams, radiating light and love in heaven. My deepest sympathy - my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sad to learn of Cheryl's passing. She was a good friend from a very early age. At age 10, she told me I would become a philanthropist (I had to ask what that was!). I always thought she would be around if I ever became one. I had hoped to see her at our 35th high school reunion in a couple of years. I will miss her.

Mr. and MRS. Warren and Family, I didn't know Cheryl but I know with a Father like you, she had to be very special. I am so sorry for your loss and you all will remain in our prayers and we pray God will give you comfort and peace just knowing that Jesus is rocking her in His arms. You were so nice to me a couple of years ago when my brother was killed. You helped me with papers and I will always remember and appreciate you and your employees for helping me through a rough time. You talked to me and made me feel so much better and I hope I could help you with words of kindness, like you did me. God Bless each of you. "I wrote your name in the sky, but the wind blew it away. I wrote your name in the sand but the waves washed it away, I wrote your name in my heart, where forever it will stay."

To the Warren Family: Cheryl was a beautiful person inside and out. She was one of my favorite people to work with at Roses back in the day. She had the most delightful personality, always had a huge smile on her face, and kept all of us who were younger at the time focused and in line. Her precious spirit will live on in the memories you hold dear. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
