Obituary of Naoe Neal

MARION, VIRGINIA: NAOE "GRANNY" HIGASHI NEAL, age 81, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at her home. She was born in Hawaii. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was the glue of her family. Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Neal Jr., and one granddaughter, Amanda Louise Neal. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Neal of Marion, Virginia; Shirley Jean Adams and husband, Steve of Anderson, Indiana; Colleen Buchanan and husband, James of Marion, Virginia; one son, Jimmy Neal Sr. and wife, Kathy of Chilhowie, Virginia; ten grandchildren including a special granddaughter, Brandy; twenty-one great-grandchildren including two special great-grandchildren, Jessica and Dalton; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Bob and Geraldine Smith and John and Connie Sexton also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating.
