Obituary of Nannie Martin

MARION, VIRGINIA: NANNIE BELLE MARTIN, age 86, died Friday, December 21, 2007 at her home in Marion, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Randall E. Arnold and Ernest Richard "Jack" Martin; five brothers, Robert Hawkins, Daniel Hawkins, Melvin Hawkins, Burton Hawkins, and Sandy Hawkins; and one sister, Margaret Konstant. She is survived by one daughter Linda Martin Griffin of Marion, Virginia. Two step-daughters, Patricia A. Snider of Chilhowie, Virginia, and Mary L. Brown of Marion, Virginia. Three sons, Hansford Eugene Arnold of Hillsville, Virginia; Richard C. Martin of Reunion, Colorado; and Terry Zane Martin of Chilhowie, Virginia. Two sisters, Janet Stokes of Marion, Virginia; and Virginia Hurley of Red Line Pennsylvania. Fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Rural Retreat, Virginia with Pastor Neil Eidson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Seaver-Brown Chapel. The funeral procession will leave for the cemetery at the conclusion of the visitation.
