Obituary of Joe Stamper

MARION, VIRGINIA: JOE STAMPER, age 71, died Monday, December 31, 2007 in Smyth County Community Hospital. He is survived by three sons, Joe Stamper of Chilhowie, Virginia, Jeff Stamper and Jimmy Stamper both of Rural Retreat, Virginia; two sisters, Eva Hutton of Rock Falls, Illinois and Wanda Teaters of Ocala, Florida; one brother, Roy Stamper of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. David Neitch officiating. Burial will follow in Southfork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
