Obituary of Myrtle Stuart

MARION, VIRGINIA: MYRTLE ELSWICK STUART, age 92, widow of Fred E. Stuart, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Smyth County Community Hospital. Mrs. Stuart was the daughter of the late Isaac and Ada Webb Elswick. She was a very active person visiting hospitals and rest homes. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Randall Smith of Saltville, Virginia; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie and Genola Stuart of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Freddie and Joyce Stuart of Damascus, Maryland, Johnny and Mary Stuart of Chilhowie, Virginia, and Bobby and Yvonne Stuart of Wytheville, Virginia; one sister, Kate Sumpter of Baltimore, Maryland; one brother and sister-in-law, Bert and Wilma Elswick of Texas; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Neville Mozingo officiating. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
