Obituary of Betty Yeary

MARION, VIRGINIA: BETTY JOHNSON YEARY, age 75, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at her home. Born July 14, 1931 to the late Roy and Gladys Sallie Johnson in Jonesville, Virginia. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Yeary; a son-in-law, June Guy; two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Yeary was a true homemaker who had a passion for cooking and taking care of her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very loved and will be deeply missed by many. She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Guy of Marion, Virginia; two grandchildren, Seth Guy and Megan Brown and husband, Robert all of Marion, Virginia. One great-granddaughter, her best friend, Brittney "Little Buddy" Brown of Marion, Virginia. Several Nieces and Nephews including a special niece, Carol McCarter. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Jeff Lambert officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Mausoleum, Marion, Virginia.
